Faith Formation fosters our relationship with Jesus through shared experiences and a growing understanding of our Catholic Tradition while honoring the development of both the heart and mind throughout our lifetime.
Faith Formation is a journey that we’re all called to – it is a life-long journey. thatt draws us into closer relationship with Christ and that sustains us in our daily lives. As adults, we have completed all of our sacraments, however, we should always be consciously deepening our faith by continued personal prayer, reading the Bible, and by participating in groups and retreats that expand our understandings of our faith and help us to deepen our relationships with God. For information about such sessions, check our bulletin, the diocesan website, and contact a member of our faith formation team if you'd like additional information. There are many resources available to you to support your faith journey, regardless of where you are on your journey.
The Miracles of Mary by Bridget Curran include over 30 recorded apparitions of Mary. There are amazing similarities in these eyewitness accounts. Bridget Curran is a storyteller and did not begin her writing with a strong devotion to Mary. She shares what her research meant to her and how she grew in her love and understanding of Mary. We will read the book together and focus on 2-3 chapters each week. We plan to start on October 21/22. The Wednesday 9 - 10 am meetings will be online using “Zoom.” We can help you get set up on Zoom if you need help. Thursday 9 - 10 am will be in the Church Hall at St. Charles with appropriate social distancing and precautions for Covid-19. The cost of the book is $13 or what you can afford. If you are interested in joining us for this book read please email mrdleaver@gmail.com or you can call the office at 725-2624 to let us know. Don & Marcy.
