The Salvation Army Bath-Brunswick Prepares to Launch Anti-Trafficking Program
The Salvation Army-Bath Brunswick is excited to announce our new anti-trafficking program that will be launching soon! The program is called CROWNS, and it stands for Cherished, Respected, Original, Worthy, Needed, and Strong. These are qualities that we believe all human beings possess. And we hope that with love and support, survivors of exploitation would know that they embody these qualities too, no matter what situation they are in. Our goal is to be there for all survivors in any way they need so that they know someone believes in them and will help them through whatever they are going through and hoping to accomplish. We will serve survivors of trafficking and exploitation with long-term case management and immediate assistance through a pantry of non-food items.
We would love to invite our community to join us in the local fight against trafficking and support this initiative! Before we launch our program, we are asking for your support in prayer and in donations to our pantry of non-food items that will be freely given to any survivor of trafficking in our community. More specifically, please pray that the Lord would continue to open doors for us to serve and partner with others in this mission. Regarding donations, we are looking for new clothing items (such as socks, underwear, and warm clothes/layers), toiletries, backpacks, and gift cards to local grocery and convenience stores. Follow and like our Facebook page (CROWNS- The Salvation Army Bath) to see a complete list of donations we need! We are so grateful to All Saints Parish for partnering with us in the Lord’s mission for justice and hope. For more information on this and other programs supported by the local Salvation Army, visit us on Facebook or our website!
Donation boxes will be set up at every All Saints Parish Church. Please drop off any of the items below between April 10-April 25th. Thank you for supporting this new program!
